Welcome to ReviewSignal.ai ("ReviewSignal", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ReviewSignal platform, including our website at reviewsignal.ai, our API services, data feeds, reports, and any related tools or documentation (collectively, the "Platform").
ReviewSignal is operated from Frankfurt am Main, Germany. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ReviewSignal. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case "you" and "your" shall refer to that entity.
B2B Professional Service: ReviewSignal is designed exclusively for business use by professional institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, and other business entities (Unternehmer within the meaning of § 14 BGB). By subscribing to any paid plan, you confirm that you are acting in a commercial or professional capacity and not as a consumer (Verbraucher) within the meaning of § 13 BGB. The statutory right of withdrawal under §§ 312g, 355 BGB does not apply to contracts concluded exclusively between businesses.
Important: These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including visitors, trial users, and paying subscribers. Certain provisions apply only to subscribers with an active paid subscription, as indicated in the relevant sections below.
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

| API | The application programming interface provided by ReviewSignal that enables Subscribers to programmatically access Data and Platform functionality using authenticated API keys. |
| API Key | A unique, confidential authentication credential issued to each Subscriber for accessing the API. |
| Subscription Plan | The specific tier of service selected by a Subscriber (Signal, Starter, Professional, or Enterprise), each with its own pricing, API call limits, and feature set. |
To access the Platform's data services, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your full name, business email address, company name, and any other information requested during registration. You agree to keep your account information up to date at all times.
Upon successful registration and, where applicable, activation of a paid subscription, ReviewSignal will issue you a unique API key. This API key is personal to your account and must not be shared with any third party. Each API key is bound to a single Subscription Plan and is subject to the usage limits of that plan.
You are solely responsible for:
ReviewSignal reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe has been compromised or is being used in violation of these Terms.
ReviewSignal offers a 14-day free trial for eligible new accounts. The trial provides limited access to the Platform (up to 100 API calls) and does not require a credit card. Trial accounts are subject to these Terms. If you do not convert to a paid Subscription Plan before the trial period expires, your trial account will be automatically deactivated and your API key will cease to function.
ReviewSignal offers the following Subscription Plans. All prices are stated in Euros (EUR) and exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated:

All subscriptions are billed on a month-to-month basis. Billing begins on the date of your initial subscription and recurs on the same date each subsequent month. There are no long-term commitments or annual contracts required, unless separately agreed in writing for Enterprise plans.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize ReviewSignal and Stripe to charge your designated payment method on each billing date. ReviewSignal does not store your full credit card or payment details; all payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
Prices do not include applicable value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other taxes. You are responsible for paying any taxes applicable to your use of the Platform based on your jurisdiction. Where required by law, ReviewSignal will add VAT to invoices for EU-based subscribers.
If a payment fails, ReviewSignal will attempt to process the charge again within 3 business days. If payment cannot be collected after 3 attempts, your account may be suspended until the outstanding balance is resolved. We will notify you by email before any suspension takes effect.
By using the Platform, you agree to the following restrictions. Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
You shall not:
API access is subject to rate limits as defined by your Subscription Plan. Rate limits are enforced on a per-API-key basis. Exceeding your plan's rate limits may result in temporary throttling of your API requests. Persistent or deliberate attempts to exceed rate limits may lead to account suspension.
Enterprise plans with "unlimited" API calls are subject to a fair use policy. ReviewSignal reserves the right to contact Subscribers whose usage patterns are significantly beyond normal levels to discuss appropriate plan adjustments.
Subject to these Terms and the restrictions of your Subscription Plan, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Without prior written consent from ReviewSignal, you shall not:
ReviewSignal endeavors to provide accurate and timely Data. However, Data is derived from publicly available consumer reviews and processed through proprietary algorithms. ReviewSignal does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any Data. The Data is provided "as is" and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment or business decision.
ReviewSignal owns and retains all right, title, and interest in and to:
Nothing in these Terms transfers or assigns any intellectual property rights from ReviewSignal to you. Your subscription grants you a limited license to use the Data as described in Section 6, not ownership of any Data or intellectual property.
If you provide ReviewSignal with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Platform ("Feedback"), you grant ReviewSignal a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into the Platform without any obligation to you.
ReviewSignal treats all information related to your use of the Platform as confidential. Specifically:
ReviewSignal may disclose confidential information only in the following circumstances:
You agree to treat your API key, account credentials, and any non-public information about ReviewSignal's technology, pricing, or business practices as confidential. You shall not disclose such information to any third party without ReviewSignal's prior written consent.
ReviewSignal targets a Platform availability of 99.5% uptime per calendar month, measured as the percentage of time the API is operational and responsive to authenticated requests. This target excludes scheduled maintenance windows.
The 99.5% uptime target is a goal, not a guarantee or warranty. ReviewSignal does not provide a service level agreement (SLA) with financial penalties or credits for downtime, except where separately agreed in writing for Enterprise subscribers.
ReviewSignal may perform scheduled maintenance on the Platform from time to time. Where practicable, we will provide at least 24 hours' advance notice of scheduled maintenance via email to active subscribers. Scheduled maintenance windows will be planned during off-peak hours (typically 02:00-05:00 CET on weekends).
In the event of unscheduled downtime, ReviewSignal will use commercially reasonable efforts to restore service as quickly as possible and will notify affected subscribers of the issue and estimated resolution time.
ReviewSignal shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms to the extent that such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power outages, internet disruptions, or failures of third-party service providers.
The Data and any outputs provided by the Platform are for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice. ReviewSignal is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. You should consult your own financial, legal, and tax advisors before making any investment decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The Platform and all Data are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. ReviewSignal expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Important: You acknowledge that investment decisions based on alternative data, including consumer review data, carry inherent risk. Past performance of signals, predictions, or analytics is not indicative of future results. You assume full responsibility for any trading or investment decisions you make based on Data obtained from the Platform.
You may cancel your subscription at any time using any of the following methods:
No questions asked. No hidden retention flows. No phone calls required.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to all Platform features and Data until the end of the period you have already paid for. No service will be terminated mid-cycle.
ReviewSignal does not issue refunds for partial, unused months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your subscription remains active and fully functional until the end of the current billing period. In exceptional circumstances, such as prolonged service outages directly attributable to ReviewSignal, we may issue pro-rata credits at our sole discretion.
If you wish to reactivate your account within 30 days of cancellation, your data and settings may be restored upon request. After 30 days, you will need to create a new account.
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This applies to all claims, whether contractual, tortious, or otherwise, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions that may entitle consumers to bring proceedings in their local courts.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. Either party may initiate the dispute resolution process by sending a written notice to the other party describing the dispute and proposed resolution. The parties shall have thirty (30) days from receipt of such notice to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) pursuant to EU Regulation 524/2013: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. As ReviewSignal is a B2B professional service, we are not obligated to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) pursuant to § 36 VSBG.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReviewSignal with respect to your use of the Platform. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
ReviewSignal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
Non-material changes (such as clarifications, formatting updates, or corrections) may be made without prior notice.
